The 3 Sisters & Japanese Bath House

Did you know The Three Sisters are 922, 918 & 906 metres tall, respectively. That's over 3000 feet above sea level! The Legend The Aboriginal dream-time legend has it that three sisters, 'Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo' lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe. These beautiful young ladies had fallen in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe, yet tribal law forbade them to marry. The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters causing a major tribal battle.

House Be a world away from the hectic city life in the Japanese Bath House at the Blue Mountains Sparadise. Just a two hours drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains Sparadise is situated in front of Lake Lyell and set within over 300 hectares of farmland. It is designed to calm and relax your body and soul. Framed by a picturesque rose garden on one side and an exquisite Japanese Zen Garden on the other, this unique bathhouse is indeed 'heaven on earth'. Blue Mountains Sparadise is the only Japanese onsen (hot spring) in NSW where you can experience the Japanese spa culture. The bathing ritual has great health benefits - it stimulates your circulation, warming your body in winter and removing grime and toxins from your body in summer. A hot spring, or onsen, also has medicinal benefits due to the high mineral content in the spring water.
